PURPOSE: A swing type cover opening and closing device for a portable phone is provided to form a mounting hole for mounting an elastic unit in a body case, thereby slimming the thickness of the entire device. CONSTITUTION: A main case(10) is installed in the main body of a portable terminal. A penetration unit is formed in one side of the main case. A hollow shaft unit penetrating the penetration unit is protruded integrally from a cover case(30). The cover case is pivotally installed through the hollow shaft unit in the main case. An elastic unit(70) offers elastic power to the cover case.
