Plastic box with a relief and method for manufacturing the box

The box has a box base body made of plastic, with an elongated side wall, and an inmold foil arranged on a region of the side wall. A surface of the inmold foil arranged on the side wall comprises a relief unit with an elevation and/or a recess. The recess is partially molded with a covering made of another plastic, and the relief unit is formed by the latter plastic and/or another material and/or the inmold foil. Thickness of the inmold foil is larger than 50 micrometers. An outer side of the elongated side wall comprises cover layers. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a box e.g. bottle case and transport box.
