PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus, a host client, an image forming system and a management method of the image forming system are provided to notify changes of a control program of the image forming apparatus to a user of the host client. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(110) communicates with one or more host clients. An image forming unit(121) forms an image on a print medium. When a preset event of the image forming apparatus is generated, a controller(130) notifies an uninstall command of a printer driver corresponding to the image forming unit to one or more host clients. The preset event is saved in a memory of the image forming apparatus. An inputting and setting unit(160) directly inputs an uninstall command of a printer driver.
