<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can efficiently perform image processings on data described in a markup language, without making the quality of information degrade. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: a database section which holds and manages data associated with a data identifier; a network communication section which receives ML data which is data described in the markup language via a network; an ML document analysis section which analyzes the ML data, extracts a data identifier regarding the data of predetermined type described by the ML data and performs layout processing of the document expressed by the ML data; a data acquisition section which acquires a predetermined type of data which is held associated with the data identifier from a database; a printing data generating section which generates printing data by using the ML data received via the network and the predetermined type of data acquired from the database; and a printer section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
