PURPOSE: An image encoding method and a device for a reduction of occupied bandwidth, and a image decoding method and a device thereof are provided to reduce the occupation of the bandwidth of the data bus in the image encoding and decoding process. CONSTITUTION: A lossless compression unit(110) processes a lossless compression of deblocking data to a window unit while image data are encoded. A lossless compression control unit(120) decides the correspondence between deblocking data and the lossless compressed data and the window size. A cache control unit(150) selects lossless compressed data corresponding to the reference data which is for the motion compensation or the motion estimation. A lossless compression decompression unit(130) decompresses the reference data by decoding the lossless compressed reference data.
