<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermochromic composition and a reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment containing it. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible thermochromic composition consists of a fluoran derivative represented by formula 1, an electron-accepting compound, and a reaction medium. The reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment containing the reversible thermochromic composition is also provided.
