SOCKET AND BACKLIGHT UNIT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A socket and a BLU(Backlight Unit) using a coupling structure are provided to implement a thin shape by improving a coupling structure of a socket which a lamp is connected with a PCB(Printed Circuit Board). CONSTITUTION: A terminal(32) comprises first and second connection units. The first connection unit has a top which is opened so that a lamp(20) be connected in the top to the lower part. The second connection unit prepares in the first connection unit. And the lower part is opened so that lamp be connected in the lower part to the top. A housing(31) comprises the first and second connection hole. The first connection hole settles the terminal on the top of a bottom chassis(10). In order that in the first connection hole, the lamp is connected to the top in accord with the first connection unit. In order that in the second connection hole, an inverter is connected in accord with the second connection unit.
