This warp beam support unit (21) forms at least a warp beam receiving volume (V 1 -V 4 ) where a warp beam (22) can be located in a position to feed (A 1 ) a loom with warp yarns. This unit (21) comprises a frame (23) which defines the volume (V 1 -V 4 ), support means (32,42) adapted to support a warp beam (22) within said volume (V 1 -V 4 ) in such a way that said warp beam can rotate around a longitudinal axis (B 1 ,8 2 ) of said volume and a let-off driving device (34,36) adapted to control the rotation of a warp beam (22) around such a longitudinal axis (B 1 ,B 2 ). At least one opening (O 1 -O 4 ) is provided in at least a lateral wall (24,25) of the frame (23). This opening is large enough (H,W) to allow a warp beam to go through this opening in order to enter (A 3 ) or to exit the volume (V 1 -V 4 ) with a translation movement perpendicular to the warp yarns feeding direction (A 1 ).
