PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method thereof for providing a wireless internet service are provided to receive selectively a wireless internet service with high quality or low quality according to a high quality state or a low quality state set by a user. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(230) confirms quality information of a wireless internet service when requesting a wireless internet service. The control unit generates a service request message including corresponding quality information according to the confirmed results. The quality information is the information for controlling the amount of data of the wireless internet service. The quality information is the high quality information or one or more low quality information. A transceiver(210) transmits the service request message to a service server for requesting the wireless internet service.
