PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a receiving side network device for constructing a highly reliable network.

SOLUTION: The receiving side network device is provided with: internal deterioration detection parts 22-1 and 22-2 which are connected to a transmitting side network device 1 via L2 networks #1 and #2, and detect data amounts, for example, of received signals for each path; a signal blocking part 24 which switches whether to pass or block the received signals; and an blocking control part 23 which compares the data amounts detected in two paths with each other, and controls the signal blocking part 24 so as to block the signal received from one path with the smaller data amount when difference between the data amounts exceeds a predetermined threshold.
