<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior box for storing an inner bag for a bag-in-box with a function of reducing the amount of leftover liquid in a bag. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The exterior box is intended for storing the inner bag for the bag-in-box having a spout, and includes a front plate 11 configured so as to have the spout, a rear plate 15, a strip-like body part having side plates 21, 25 for connecting them, each pair of upper-lid inner flaps 31, 35 and upper-lid outer flaps 41, 45 for forming an upper lid. and each pair of bottom-lid inner flaps 32, 36 and bottom-lid outer flaps 42, 46 for forming a bottom-lid. The exterior box is configured so that cutout-corner parts H are provided on the front-plate side and the bottom-lid side of a pair of the side-plates, and an inclined plane is formed on the bottom-lid side of the front plate by providing a folded connecting piece 38 at a place where the front plate on the bottom-lid side and the bottom-lid inner flap are connected with each other so as to tilt the whole box toward the front-plate side.
