<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow blower capable of reducing bulk of snow securely. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A snow compressing mechanism 60 is composed of a left driving wheel 43, a right driving wheel 37, a left idler wheel 61, a right idler wheel 62, a left crawler 63, and a right crawler 64. A left driving shaft 42 of the left driving wheel 43, a left supporting shaft 109 of the left idler wheel 61, a right driving shaft 36 of the right driving wheel 37, and a right supporting shaft 95 of the right idler wheel 62 are vertically provided (in the direction of the back of the chart), and the left crawler 63 and the right crawler 64 are arranged to open forward and approach to each other in the back when viewed in a plane. Since snow 115 is compressed backward from the front in the horizontal direction by the snow compressing mechanism 60 and is discharged backward as a snow ball 116, the snow blower capable of reducing bulk of snow securely is provided.
