<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural analysis method and program, a recording medium, and a simulation apparatus, which can reduce an amount of calculation by a nonlinear finite element method and enable real-time operation of a three-dimensional model, even in dynamic computations. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The structural analysis method, the program, the recording medium, and the simulation apparatus by nonlinear finite element method are provided, as a primitive for identifying a three-dimensional element, for: setting a side pair P for designating a combination of sides ε excluding a case that it is already designated in another three-dimensional element, in respective three-dimensional elements; calculating a weighting function g(ε) for a side vector p=(ε) of the side ε; and collectively calculating the weighting function g(ε) for each side pair P as the main features.
