<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of securing sealability even if a rotating speed of a rotary member is low, and capable of also restraining seizure and abrasion between a seal lip and a seal surface when the rotating speed of the rotary member increases. <P>SOLUTION: This sealing device has a seal body 1 installed in an inner ring 12. The seal body 1 has the seal lip 8 slidable on the seal surface 9 of a casing 20 in a state of rotating the inner ring 12 at a low speed, and an elastic deformation part. The elastic deformation part can be elastically deformed so as to separate the seal lip 8 from the seal surface 9 by centrifugal force acting by rotating at a high speed together with the inner ring 12. A weight part 3 is also arranged at an interval in the peripheral direction in the seal body 1. The weight part 3 increases the acting centrifugal force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
