<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for efficiently storing information about a client device. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) stores utilization history of the MFP of a PC included in a network. PC information about a PC which has been used is registered in a region A. When there is a PC, newly connected to the network and the utilization history of the PC is not recorded (NO in S107), PC information about the PC is stored in a region B (S111 or S113). The region B has a fixed amount; and when there is no free space (NO in S109), PC information of oldest date of use is discarded and the PC information about the PC is registered (S113). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
