The part has a valve (10) for covering an asymmetric cataphoresis paint flowing orifice. The valve has fixation units constituted of fixation tongues (24) for fixing the valve on the orifice and positioning units constituted of positioning and centering reliefs (26) for positioning the valve with respect to orifice. The fixation and positioning units authorize a set of distinct fixation positions of the valve on the orifice. The valve closes the orifice in different fixation positions of the valve, which are obtained by rotation around an axis perpendicular to a general plane of the orifice. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle.
