PURPOSE: Ficher-Tropsch catalysts for direct production of light olefins from syngas and a preparation method thereof are provided to improve stability and yield of the catalyst, and to increase a carbon monoxide conversion rate. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of iron-based Ficher-Tropsch catalysts includes the following steps of: dissolving ethylene glycol in citric acid; removing water completely included in liquid by heating a mixed solution after agitating a compound and adding a calcium precursor aqueous solution in the citric acid and ethylene glycol liquid; gaining a calcium oxide supporter by sintering the compound in which the water is removed; and impregnating a metal precursor to the calcium oxide supporter. The catalyst further includes a step for sintering the manufactured catalyst at a temperature of 300 ~ 700 °C.
