<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a display control method using the same are provided to control an avatar displayed in a touch screen without any direct touch by using a proximity touch. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(151) displays a plurality of avatars. A sensing(140) senses a real touch of a surface contact point or proximity touch of a pointer. The sensing unit generates a sensing signal for controlling operation of a terminal(100) by detecting a current state of the terminal. According to the sensing signal offered from the touch screen, a controller(180) controls implantation related to the avatar according to the sensing signal received from the touch screen. A user input unit(130) generates input data for controlling operation of the terminal by receiving input operation from a user.</p> |
