PURPOSE:To design the method so that the surface of a molded sheet can be made extremely smooth, by a method wherein a fiber-reinforced foamed resin compound to be fed continuously in a beltlike state with a belt conveyor is preheated so that the more it goes to the center widthwise the higher a temperature distribution becomes. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-reinforced foamed resin compound 2 to be fed continuously into a beltlike state with a belt conveyor 1 is preheated with a heater 3 so that the more it goes to the center widthwise, the higher a temperature distribution becomes. Then the fiber-reinforced foamed resin compound 2 is pressure-molded into a boardlike body G having a fixed thickness with a double conveyor device 4 where a compression conveyor 1' is arranged by facing on the belt conveyor 1.
