PURPOSE:To secure the rigidity and strength of a steel plate and a molded product and to obtain an outer resin panel having ribs capable of attaining the thinning and wt. reduction of the molded product by molding the outer resin panel having a large number of ribs on the rear thereof and heating or pressing the top parts of the ribs to form the cross-sectional shape of each of the ribs into a T-shape. CONSTITUTION:When an upper mold 2 having cavities for forming a large number of chevron-shape ribs 4 is clamped and a molten resin is injected, the molten resin penetrates in reinforcing fibers and forms resin layers around the fibers to mold a fiber reinforced resin molded product wherein a large number of the chevron-shape ribs 4 are integrally formed to the rear of an outer panel 3. After the resin is cured, the upper mold 2 is opened and a heating mold 5 is applied to the top parts of the chevron-shape ribs 4. Since a heater 6 is built in the heating mold 5, the top parts of the chevron-shape ribs 4 are softened under heating to be collapsed and the chevron-shape ribs 4 become a T-shape cross-sectional shape and the cross-sectional shape of the molded product containing the outer panel 3 becomes an I-shaper or H-shape and a cross-sectional coefficient becomes large. |
