<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of further enhancing the amusement by adding novel game properties. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes symbol display means 120L, 120C and 120R for variably displaying a plurality of symbols; a compensation bet receiving means 61 for receiving a compensation bet as the compensation for the play; a start lever 500 permitting the game starting operation by a player; stop buttons 112L, 112C and 112R for stopping/displaying a prescribed combination of a plurality of symbols variably displayed by the symbol display means; a memory 63; and a CPU 61. The CPU 61 determines the number of game media for compensation by a lottery in the game in which the compensation bet is received, and game media for compensation in the determined number are put out when the compensation is actuated.
