<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission device of a simple structure transmitting torque generated from a torque generation device to a load. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the rotation transmission device 10, magnetic pole surfaces of magnets 12a-12f formed on a fixed part 19a and magnetic pole surfaces of magnets 13a-13g formed on a rotary plate 14 are disposed to face each other. A rotary plate 11 is disposed in an air gap between the magnetic pole surfaces of the magnets 12a-12f and the magnetic pole surfaces of the magnets 13a-13g. Magnetism of the magnetic pole surfaces of the magnets 12a-12f and magnetism of the magnetic pole surfaces of the magnets 13a-13g are same. The number of the magnets 12a-12f and the number of the magnets 13a-13g are different. The rotary plate 11 has electrical conductivity and is provided with a hole. The hole is positioned to face some of the magnetic pole surfaces. Torque is mutually transmitted between a first rotary plate and a second rotary plate by employing such a structure.
