<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an automatic revolving door having a broad opening width, and to safely stop a revolving door body in front of an obstruction though a stopping distance is required because the revolving door body has a large inertia force in the process of the closing of an opening. <P>SOLUTION: A housing sidewall door 1 and an intrusion-preventive sidewall door 10 are fitted in a shape that both wall doors 1 and 10 are inscribed (or circumscribed) to both sidewalls 2. A wing door 4 having a width larger than the stopping distance is fitted in the direction of rotation of the outer end section of the revolving door body 3. The housing sidewall door is housed in the anti-rotational direction in case of an opening, and opened in both right and left directions together with the rotation of the wing door 4 mounted on the revolving door body 3. The intrusion-preventive sidewall door 10 is closed in the anti-rotational direction and closed from both right and left directions together with the rotation of the wing door 4 mounted on the revolving door body 3 in case of the closing of the door and an opening width being in risk of an intrusion. The wing door 4 and the intrusion-preventive sidewall door are moved freely or an urging means is mounted and the door is opened by detecting the obstruction 11 in the process of the closing of the opening, and the rotation of the revolving door body 3 is stopped simultaneously.
