<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in concentration of lithium ions used for charge and discharge. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium ion battery (1) includes: a power generation element (11) having a positive electrode element (12), and a negative electrode element (13), and containing a first electrolyte; a case (10) for housing the power generation element; and a second electrolyte (20) housed in the case and positioned on the outside of the power generation element.
