PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition capable of improving the touch of hair. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic composition contains (A) a dimethyldiallylammonium chloride-acrylic acid copolymer, (B) a silicone having a kinetic viscosity of 2-350 mm<SP>2</SP>/s and (C) a cationic polymer. Preferably, the cationic polymer (C) is compounded in the composition as a raw material exhibiting solid state at 25°C. More preferably, the hair cosmetic composition contains (D) diglycerol.
