PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile electronic equipment without the risk of the mutual interference of a battery 3 and a card when housing the battery 3 in a battery housing chamber 10 even when a gap between the card and the battery is set to be small, as the mobile electronic equipment having a card insertion port opened on one sidewall forming the battery housing chamber 10 of a body 1. SOLUTION: In the mobile electronic equipment, while a projection part 32 to be in slidable contact with the one sidewall of the body 1 in the process of housing the battery 3 in the battery housing chamber 10 of the body 1 is formed on one end face of the battery 3 to face the one sidewall of the body 1, a recessed part 61 to house the projection part 32 in the state of housing the battery 3 in the battery housing chamber 10 is formed on the one sidewall of the body 1. In the process where the projection part 32 is slid to the recessed part 61 after being in contact with the one side wall, the card facing area of the battery 3 reaches a position facing the card insertion port drawing a track separated from the card insertion port.
