PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can not only improve efficiency of cooling an apparatus body but also miniaturize the apparatus body. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 100, a secondary transfer roller 9 is abutted on a driven roller 11 which is arranged on an opposite side to photoreceptor drums 1a to 1d across transfer rollers 6a to 6d, through an intermediate transfer belt 8. A fixing belt 23 tensioned and laid on a fixing roller 21 and a heating roller 22 is provided in a fixing part 7, and the heating roller 22 is arranged on a more downstream side in a conveying direction of paper P than the fixing roller 21, and a first belt part 23a of the fixing belt 23 is arranged nearly in parallel with a second belt part 8a of the intermediate transfer belt 8.
