<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a sliding door in storage furniture or a partition, capable of appropriately reducing the speed of the sliding door just before completion of door closing even if the sliding door is rapidly approached to the vicinity of a door closing side end part, and preventing an internal mechanism from being exposed to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The door closer includes a bar-formed casing 1 having locking grooves 12a at both longitudinal end sides; a cushioning damper 3 including a cylinder part 31 and a piston rod 32; hook members 4 and 4 pivotally supported 42a respectively at a based end of the cylinder part 31 and at a top end of the piston rod 32; a tensile elastic body 5 provided between both the opposed hook members 4 and 4; and a cover member 8 which covers about both lateral sides of the cushioning damper 3, the hook members 4 and the tensile elastic body 5, and having an upper surface opened in conformation to a moving range of the hook members 4. The cover member 8 is installed to the bar-formed casing 1, and at least one side hook member 4 is engagingly locked in the locking groove 12a of the casing 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
