<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear engine vehicle allowing easy manufacturing of a rear frame having sufficient rigidity at high dimension accuracy and attaining reduction in vehicle weight. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rear frame 20 of a bus has a structure that a portion where a front end side portion of an engine frame 22l is superposed at a lower side of a rear end side portion of a main frame 24L is clamped/connected by an outer connection plate 23Lo and an inner connection plate. The engine frame 22L has an upper side pipe 41L, a lower side pipe 42L, a plurality of connection pipes 43 for connecting the upper and lower pipes, and a reinforcement block 32 for supporting the upper and lower pipes from an inner side at a portion superposed on the main frame 24L.
