<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a residual thickness of a panel with high reliability by measuring an accidental error generated between previously stored height reference data of a panel and an actual installation height of the panel when replacing a working jig according to the panel in which a tear line is formed, and by correcting the height reference data so as to form an intermittent groove of the tear line with high accuracy, and also by measuring the accidental error generated between the previously stored process reference data and an actual process reference position when replacing a cutting tool, and by correcting the process reference position so as to form the intermittent groove of the tear line with a high accuracy, and further by measuring the accidental error generated between measurement reference data regarding the gap between the previously stored residual thickness detection means and an end of the cutting tool and an actual measurement reference position when replacing the cutting tool and the residual thickness detection means, and by correcting the measurement reference data so as to accurately measure the depth of the intermittent groove. <P>SOLUTION: An actual height of the working jig, the actual process reference position of a cutting tool, and an actually measured reference detected by the residual thickness detection means are measured before the tear line is formed on the panel.
