<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which suppresses deterioration in image quality of a peripheral part that an image photographed using an optical hand shake correcting mechanism may have. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Based on, for example, a shutter speed during photography, the degree of an amount of hand shake correction of the image by the optical hand shake correcting mechanism during the photography is determined. A parameter which is larger in correction amount of peripheral part pixels of the image is set, as a parameter used for correction processing, for an image determined to be slow in shutter speed and high in the degree of the amount of hand shake correction than for an image determined to be low in degree of the amount of hand shake correction.
