<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat with a variable length of a seat cushion capable of largely utilizing a lower part space of the seat cushion without changing the shape of a front edge of the seat cushion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This vehicle seat has the seat cushion 1 provided with a frame member 10, a cushion body 20 mounted on the frame member 10 and an operation mechanism for operating a front end part of the cushion body 20, and is capable of adjusting the length of the seat cushion 1 to a desired length by operating the front end part of the cushion body 20 by the operation mechanism. The operation mechanism has a sliding member 11 slidable in the longitudinal direction, a link mechanism 30 connected to the sliding member 11 and a frame member 12 and a pressing member 31 connected to the link mechanism 30 to be slidable downward according to longitudinally sliding of the sliding member 11. When the length of the seat cushion is shortened, the front end part of the cushion body 20 is towed and operated downward by the pressing member 31 since the pressing member 31 slides and moves downward by interlocking with the rear side sliding of the sliding member 11.
