<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive heat generation of a power generator that is generated due to correction of an operation point, in a power output device correcting the operation point of an internal combustion engine to higher rotation side as air density is smaller. <P>SOLUTION: Correction power becoming larger as the air density α is smaller is added to request power P* requested for a vehicle to set target power Pe* of the engine, a temporary rotation speed Netmp is set based on the target power Pe* and an optimum mileage line (S110-150), the engine is operated with a target rotation speed Ne* and target torque Te* such that a target rotation speed Nm1* becomes an allowable rotation speed Nm1lim regardless of the target power Pe* when an absolute value of a temporary rotation speed Nm1tmp of a motor MG1 based on the temporary rotation speed Netemp exceeds the allowable rotation speed Nm1lim set as a smaller value as the air density α is smaller (S180), and the engine, the motor MG1 and a motor MG2 are controlled such that torque based on request torque Tr* is output (S210-270). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
