The device has a blow or sheet guidance box (2), and a guiding plate (3) forming a sheet guidance surface (F). The plate is removable from the box. The box is integrated in a printing machine such that box is swivelable around a tipping axis (K) that runs parallel to a rotation axis (X) of a transfer cylinder (1). A clamping structure i.e. clamping plunger (8), is provided in both side areas of the printing machine, where the guiding plate is fixedly clamped in a guiding position that is curved in a concave manner to the rotation axis, via the clamping structure.
