PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor, capable of preventing cracks in an unspecified position due to heat stress of a rotor magnet and magnet cracks during operation, without increasing the number of manufacturing steps and without using any special tool. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet type synchronous motor has the rotor composed of the magnet 2 which has a divided structure and is press-bonded to a rotor core (or shaft) 1.
