It is possible to effectively use a display unit surface of a mobile communication terminal and appropriately set a detection area in accordance with the display format so as to execute an easy and intuitional operation by a user. Provided is a mobile communication terminal (110) including: a display unit (214); a screen control unit (240) for displaying a plurality of screens aligned on the display unit; a touch detection unit (218) which receives a user input made on the surface of the display unit (214); and a detection area setting unit (242) which sets a detection area of the touch detection unit (218) for receiving an operation on the screen, in a detection area corresponding to one of the screens based on the sizes of the screens when a plurality of screens are aligned on the display unit (214).
