METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING OBJECT OF STRUCTURE ON DIGITAL MAP

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for displaying an object of a structure on a digital map are provided to supply a user interface by eliminating the necessity of changing the point of a map. CONSTITUTION: After indicating a first structure object, a second structure object is displayed on the first structure object(S301,S303). If the pointer is placed on an overlay part, the object for the second structure is converted into a transparent structure object(S307). When a pointer click operation in a stat that the pointer is placed in the overlay part, a selection command is provided to a map display unit(S309). At least one of the configuration data for the real structure of the second structure object and the user defined data are extracted from a map data storage(S311).
