<p>The invention relates to a plant-based composition for the treatment of acne, to a process for preparing and using the same. According to the invention, the composition comprises 1...5 parts by weight of Viola Tricolor, 1...5 parts by weight of Humulus Lupulus, 1...5 parts by weight of Crataes Monogyna, 0.5...5 parts by weight of Cichorium Inthybus, 5...20 parts by weight of Triticum Aestivum and 100 parts ointment base. The process for preparing the composition consists in that the required amount of salve base is melted in a stainless steel vessel, wherein the finely ground plants having a particle size ranging between 1 and 1.25 mm and a moisture between 7 and 14%, at the most, are introduced, while stirring, and, after the homogenization, the resulting mixture is filtered in order to separate non-homogenized plant components, the mass being finally cooled down to the ambient temperature. The claimed plant-based composition is used in the treatment of acne.</p> |
