PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide machine component cleaning apparatus capable of effectively removing excessive oil adhered to machine component after forging and thinly adhering a rust-preventive agent and a cleaned oil to the surfaces of the component after cleaning, thereby preventing rust on the product from being developed. SOLUTION: The machine component cleaning apparatus that cleans various machine components P forged by a part former 7 includes a pool 1 in which cleaning water CW is stored; a transfer cleaning conveyor 2 that cleans component to be cleaned P with the cleaning water CW in the pool 1 while the component to be cleaned P supplied onto a starting end are transferred to a finishing end, in which the starting end is set up to be at a low level position inside the pool 1 and the finishing end is set up to be at a high level position that exceeds water level WL inside the pool 1; a washer 3 that jets the purified cleaning water CW to the component to be cleaned P that are transferred on the conveyor 2 and emerge from a water surface WL; and a float-type oil skimmer 4 that sucks and discharges surface water containing oil floating on the water surface WL in the pool 1 with a pump 3c.
