<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly convert a physical address even when an HDMI path with a plurality of sink apparatuses mixed therein is relayed by wireless or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This relay device is provided with an address management part 338 executing a process of acquiring a first physical address allocated to the relay device based on a sink device; a process of acquiring a second physical address allocated to the relay device based on another sink device connected to the downstream of another relay device; a first determination process of determining whether it is necessary to transfer a command to the other relay device; a second determination process of determining whether conversion of a physical address included in a parameter is executed in the other relay device when it is determined that the command must be transferred to the other relay device; and a conversion process of converting the physical address included in the parameter to a physical address based on the other sink device by using the first physical address and the second physical address when it is determined that the conversion of the physical address is not executed by the other relay device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
