PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional cooling system for a ship that electric power in the ship is wastefully consumed because a cooling fresh water circulating pump or the like is operated at a constant speed. SOLUTION: The control device for a fresh water circulating pump of a ship is arranged in the ship and controls the number of revolutions of a cooling fresh water circulating pump drive motor for driving a cooling fresh water circulating pump for circulating cooling fresh water to a heat exchanger disposed in the ship so as to exchange heat between seawater and fresh water, so that the fresh water pressure measured value measured by a fresh water line pressure detector mounted on the downstream side of the cooling fresh water circulating pump may be constant.
