The deflector has an adjustable cover element (16) alternatively locking or releasing a roof opening (14). A deflector element (20) is laterally provided with a set of extension arms (22A, 22B). The extension arms are prestressed in an extension direction by extension springs of bearing supports, where each bearing support is a stamped and bent part with two lateral flanges. A bearing bolt is arranged between the lateral flanges, where the bearing bolt forms a pivoting axis for respective extension arm. Each extension arm exhibits a bearing section partially enclosing the bolt.
