PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking device of an elevator type capable of adjusting levelness of an elevator with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This parking device of an elevator type has a parking shelf for storing a vehicle, the elevator 3 for carrying in and carrying out the vehicle to the parking shelf, a front suspending holding pulley 4a and a rear suspending holding pulley 4b respectively installed on the respective left and right of a front part and a rear part of the elevator 3, a front wire 5a hooked from below around both front suspending holding pulleys 4a while holding one end side, a rear wire 5b hooked from below around both rear suspending holding pulleys 4b while holding one end side, a hoisting device 6 for lifting and driving the elevator 3 by hoisting and delivering the other end side of the front wire 5a and the rear wire 5b, and a level adjusting mechanism 12 having a worm jack 15 for adjusting the level in the longitudinal direction of the elevator 3 by holding and pushing-pulling the one end side of the wire 5a.
