<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin processed article for arc extinguishment excellent in uninflammability, with little contribution to inner pressure rise, capable of generating thermal decompression gas enabled to efficiently extinguish arc generated at circuit break, and endowed with heat resistance standing temperature rise as well as pressure resistance standing the inner pressure rise at that time, and to provide a circuit breaker using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The circuit breaker is provided with a fixed contactor 5 with a fixed contact point 7, a movable contactor 1 with a movable contact point 6, and an arc-extinguishing device for extinguishing arc generated when the fixed contactor 5 and the movable contactor 1 make a switching operation. For the arc-extinguishing device, the resin processed article for arc extinguishment 13 is used made by molding and giving radiation crosslinking on a resin composition containing polyolefin resin (A) with a part of hydrogen atoms of methylene chain substituted with a hydroxyl group and containing 0.2 to 0.7 mol of the hydroxyl group to 1 mol of a methylene group, a micro capsule (B) containing water as a core material, and a reactive organophosphorus flame retardant (C) containing a terminal unsaturated bond.
