METHOD OF PRODUCING CLOSTRIDIUM BOTULINUM TOXIN USING A MEDIA CONTAINING PLANT DERIVED COMPONENTS AND A FLEXIBLE CLOSED CONTAINER

PURPOSE: A method for producing Clostridium botulinum toxin using plant-derived component-containing medium is provided to extracellular express the Clostridium botulinum toxin without any installation for anaerobic condition. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing Clostridium botulinum toxin comprises: a step of culturing Clostridium botulinum toxin in a medium containing plant-derived component to express Clostridium botulinum toxin extracellularly; and a step of collecting a part containing the Clostridium botulinum toxin then separating toxin. The medium containing plant-derived component is a medium containing glucose, yeast extract and python peptone; a medium containing glucose, yeast extract, python peptone and plant tryptone; and a medium containing glucose, yeast extract, python peptone and soytone.
