摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The system has a camera (1) taking images e.g. infrared image, formed through an objective lens (2) on a matrix (3) of photodetectors. An interferential Fabry-perot device (4) has an axis forming a fixed angle with an optical axis of the lens. The fixed angle is greater than semi opening angle of an input field corresponding to each image. The camera and the device are mounted on a mobile support (10) and fixed with respect to each other during a rotation of the support so that the images taken by the camera are formed from rays that traverses a space between plates of the device. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting an object and obtaining spectral characteristic of the object. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a mobile ground observation vehicle such as aircraft and satellite, in scientific, space and military missions, for producing a two dimensional image of an object that is situated in an observation field and a spectral distribution characteristic of radiation that is received in points of the image in order to detect the object in the observation field and to reveal the presence of a gaseous cloud such as toxic gas cloud, where the presence of the object and the cloud is not distinguished or less perceptible to a wavelength (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The system allows to scan a large observation field, during a rotation of the support, by the input field of the camera. The axis of the interferential Fabry-perot device forms the fixed angle, greater than semi opening angle of the input field, with the optical axis of the lens, thus ensuring that spectral data is not acquired in a redundant manner and hence obtaining a maximum spectral information. The system does not comprise mobile elements, is not disturbed by shocks and vibrations transmitted to the support and can be manufactured in a simple manner. The system allows to acquire successive images in a rapid manner, since mobile elements are not actuated between two image capture, thus permitting to observe the object in a correct manner, even when the speed of the object is high. The camera, the interferential Fabry-perot device and the support are inexpensive, and can be assembled in a simple manner, so that the system is simple.
