PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed device and a recording medium processing apparatus that prevent dust in cleaning parts from adhering to a recording medium as the recording medium is fed by disposing the cleaning parts on rollers opposed to heads so as to be driven separately for cleaning the heads. SOLUTION: The card feed device 3 comprises brushes 36 and 38 for cleaning the heads 33 and 34 by contact with the heads 33 and 34, fittings 37 and 39 for mounting the brushes 36 and 38 on the platen rollers 31 and 32, and an electric brush drive motor 35 for rotating the brushes 36 and 38 to bring the brushes 36 and 38 into contact with the heads 33 and 34 more than once. The brushes 36 and 38 are coaxial with the platen rollers 31 and 32 and radially outside the platen rollers 31 and 32 and are rotatable relative to the platen rollers 31 and 32.
