Food packaging 31 is disclosed which can be in the form of a sealable tray (30) having a plastics film liner (51). The liner is applied under differential air pressure, for example positive pressure and/or a vacuum, and following heating of the film. The resultant tacking film sticksto the tray (30), only sufficiently to hold togetherin use. After use the tray and film can be split readily. The film is heated and domed awayfrom the tray prior to applying the air pressure, to stretchit and assist in its application into the tray (30). |
