PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit an inlet of an IC tag to the spine of gathered fold sections. SOLUTION: A bookbinding device 1 has a plurality of clamps 4 which transfer circularly, and also, has an adhesive applicator 5a, an inlet supply device 7, an adhesive applicator 5b and a cover supply part 11, disposed in that order in a transfer direction of the clamp 4. In addition, the bookbinding device 1 applies a first adhesive 17a to gathered fold sections 3 with the help of the adhesive applicator 5a, and supplies an inlet tape 20 with the help of the inlet supply device 7 without cutting and also, supplies a second adhesive 17b with the help of the adhesive applicator 5b.
