PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile hood panel having a structure which can control enter of a head of a pedestrian into a hood at the time of collision with the pedestrian.SOLUTION: An automobile hood panel including an outer panel and an inner panel joined to an outer periphery of the outer panel has a salient of a closed cross section comprising the outer panel and the inner panel, a cross-sectional shape of the salient comprises a pair of facing vertical walls, an upper base extending between top edges of the pair of vertical walls, and a lower base extending between bottom edges of the pair of vertical walls, and a curvature of the lower base is larger than a curvature of the upper base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
